Dwight O’Keefe Mabe, 67, passed Sunday, January 12, 2025, at Sovah Health Martinsville Hospital, after long-term health issues.
A native of Patrick County, VA, O’Keefe was born on May 5, 1957. He was a graduate of
North Stokes High School. O’Keefe was a self-employed welder. He was a devoted husband, loving father, a good brother and loyal son.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester Curtis Mabe, Sr. and Dorothy Othela Rogers Mabe; brother, Lester Curtis Mabe, Jr (L.C.) and daughter, Sarah Jane Mabe.
O’Keefe is survived by his wife, Jane Mabe; stepdaughter, Jennifer Williams; grandchildren, Jesse Harold and Cheyenne Harold; brother, Eddie Mabe; and special niece and nephew, Conner Mabe and Caroline Mabe.
