Obituary: DORIS HELEN COLLINS McCALL

Mrs. Doris Helen Collins Mc Call departed this life on Saturday, February 11, 2023. 

She was a native of Bridgeton, New Jersey and a resident of East Orange, New Jersey for the majority of her life.  As a lady of faith and a God-Fearing person, she fellowshipped with various churches.  Pursuing several career paths, she was formerly employed by a sewing factory, farming industry, organ factory and retired as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Her parents, Dora Wright Collins and George Collins; beloved husband, Joe Mack Mc Call; great-grandparents, Sophronia Harris Wright and Albert Wright; brothers, Jerome Wright, Sylvester Wright and Frances Collins, preceded her in death. 

Survivors are: devoted daughter, Colleen Harrison; 13 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; 38 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Lorraine Collins Brown, Bernice Collins Phillips (Lewis) and Virginia Collins; special niece and nephew, Antoinette Collins Marshall (Rev. James) and Cornelius Collins (Verel); other relatives and friends.  Special appreciation to Complete Care. 

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 21, 2023 from the Cornerstone Christian Center, 516 North Scales Street with Rev. Lawrence Harrison presiding. 

The family visitation will be Tuesday from 1:30 until 2:00 p.m. at the church.
