Donnell Corbett departed this life on Wednesday, November 1, 2023.
Born on August 16, 1951 in Caswell County North Carolina, he was the offspring of the late James Earl Corbett and Lillian Faye Hampton Corbett Tayler (James Taylor, step-father). He attended Douglas High School and Morehead High School. He worked as a painter for Doyle Industrial Painting.
In addition to his parents, siblings, Steve Corbett and Ruby Earlene Johnson, preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memory: sons, Tony Moyer, James Corbett, Terrell Dickerson and Donnell Corbett, Jr.; daughters, Shadonna Corbett, Cashaunda Corbett, Donisha Roberts and Latoya Wilson; sisters, Sarah Dillard, Janice Corbett and Shelia Rollins; brothers, James Taylor (Jennifer); 20 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 8, 2023 from the chapel of Johnson & Sons, 115 Holderby Street, Reidsville with Elder Ronnell Wilson presiding. His remains are in the care of Johnson & Sons.
