Donald Ray Howerton, Jr., passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, March 3, 2025.
Donald was born on August 9, 1956 to the late Donald Sr. and Shirley Lemons Howerton. He was known for his passion for painting cars, a craft he mastered and loved. Donald also enjoyed the freedom and thrill of riding his motorcycle, often exploring new roads and adventures.
At home, Donald cherished the time spent with his family, always bringing warmth and joy to those around him. He had an unwavering positive outlook on life and carried a sense of peace that touched everyone he met.
The family wishes to thank his two sisters-in-law, Christina Glover and Rhonda Cox; niece, Tiffany Hiott for their love and compassionate care.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Catherine Stafford Howerton; son, Donald Ray Howerton III; grandchildren, Donald Ray IV, Lincoln Wayne, Samuel Lee, Mathew James, Elanor Grace; siblings, Gwen Dunn, Steven Herb Howerton, Mark Howerton.
