Donald Ralph Carter, 68, of Stoneville, passed away on November 24, 2024, at Annie Penn Hospital.

A 2:00 p.m. graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at Trent Family Cemetery with Pastor Wesley Byerly officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, November 26, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Ray Funeral Home and all other times at the home of Michael and Kaylee Anderson, 211 Fisher Road in Madison.

Donald was born to the late Ralph J. and Erma H. Carter on March 25, 1956 in Reidsville. Donald was a loving, caring, and supportive son, brother, daddy, papa, and great grandpa.

In addition to his parents, he was greeted at heavens gates by his granddaughter, Bailey Smith.

Donald is survived by his wife of 51 years, Bonnie P. Carter; his children, Terri (Michael) Orander of Madison, Charles (Chris) Carter of Stoneville, and Linda (Mark) Martin of Madison; his grandchildren, Kaylee (Michael) Anderson, Ross Orander, Carter and Lucas Smith, Conner, Cooper, and Charley Carter; great grandsons, Mason and Easton Anderson; his sister, Teresa Carter (Ellis); his nieces, great nephews, and great niece; as well as numerous other family members.

Daddy would want everyone to be comfortable. Jeans are welcome.
