Dianne Lovell Motsinger, 76, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2023 at her home.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Colonial Funeral Home in Madison and all other times at her home. A private graveside service will be held at the Motsinger Family Cemetery.
Mrs. Motsinger was born on November 14, 1946 in Hinds County, Mississippi to the late Edward Ellison Lovell and Agnes Marie Lewis Lovell. She loved her Lord and Savior and was a member of True Gospel Baptist Church. Dianne enjoyed working in her yard, especially in her flower garden. Her greatest joy was spending time with her beloved grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Phil Motsinger; step-father, James Chapman; brother, Buddy Lovell and sister, Sandra Moore.
Survivors include her sons, Daniel Phillip Motsinger, II (Carol) and Edward Lewis Motsinger (Lauren); grandchildren, Chloe Anna Motsinger and Daniel Lane Motsinger; step-grandchildren, Justin Ellison and Jeremy Apple; nieces, Jeana Koontz, Kathy Mabe and Kim Hill and nephew, Jason Moore.
The family wishes to thank Denise Hicks and Christina Harris for the special care they provided to Dianne and family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
Colonial Funeral Home in Madison is serving the family.
