Diann Nelson Joyce, 91, passed peacefully at her home Sunday, June 16, 2024.
She was born in Forsyth County on February 28, 1933, daughter of Jones Emory and Alma Mabe Nelson. Diann and her late husband Harry Clayton Joyce were former co-owners of Nelson Funeral Home. She was a member of Peters Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents and husband, Diann was preceded in death by her sister, Maxine Nelson Petree.
Dianne was blessed with devoted caregivers, Terry Fulp, Mary Lou Pack, and Janice Minor.
Great appreciation is extended to the staff at Mountain Valley Hospice, LifeBrite Community Hospital, and Dr. Kirk Sanders for Diann’s end of life care.
Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel in Sandy Ridge is serving the family.
