Mrs. Delores Bridges Cobb departed this life on Friday evening, October 21, 2022.
As a native and lifelong resident of Rockingham County, North Carolina, she attended the local public schools and was a retired Certified Nursing Assistant. Spiritually, she was a member of True Vine Holy Tabernacle Church. Possessing an empathetic and giving nature, Delores was a very giving person, always willing to lend to others. Having a strong sense of family, she loved spending time with family and attending events. We thank God for her Christian life and beautiful memories to forever cherish.
Survivors are: loving sons, Terrance Cobb (Ashley), Gregory Cobb (Ruby), Carr Cobb and Gary Bridges; 10 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; sister, Clocelton Blackwell (Marshall); special friends, Vanessa Woodson, Sherika Cobb, Vanessa Cobb and Lois Jones; other relatives and friends.
A Service of Praise & Thanksgiving will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 6, 2022 from the Cornerstone Christian Center, 516 North Scales Street with Rev. Thomas W. Williamson, Sr. presiding. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:30 until 2:00 p.m. at the church. Public viewing will be Saturday afternoon at Johnson & Sons, 115 Holderby Street.
