
Delois Tilley Easter, 81, left this earthly life on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Annie Penn Hospital.
The funeral service will be conducted at 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 29, 2022 at Beaver Island Baptist Church with Pastor David Cox officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 3 p.m. on Sunday at the church.
Mrs. Easter was born on December 7, 1940 in Rockingham County to the late Lester David Tilley and Nettie Lee Morton Tilley. She retired from Sears and Roebuck and was a faithful member of Beaver Island Baptist Church, where she served in many capacities. Delois enjoyed traveling to the beach and to the mountains. She will be remembered for her nurturing love toward her family, especially her nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-son, Clyde “Monty” Easter, III and brother, David Tilley, Sr.
Survivors include her beloved husband of fifty-eight years, Clyde M. Easter, Jr.; sister, Shelva Coleman (Ted); sisters-in-law, Brenda Cummings and Helen Joyce Tilley; nieces and nephews, Shatana Knight (Spencer), Chasity Tilley, David Tilley, Jr., Wanda Boyd (Alan) and Elliott Cardwell (Jen); great-nieces and great-nephews, Savannah Knight, Summer Knight, Swanson Knight, Jacob Tilley and Jerri Grace Tilley.
