Obituary: DAVID G. WOOD

David G. Wood, 80, of Eden passed away Friday, April 21, 2023 at UNC Rockingham Rehabilitation and Nursing.
There will be no formal services per David’s request.
David was born May 3, 1942, in Mason City, Iowa. He served his country in the US Navy as a barber. David lived in California for many years before moving to Eden in May of 2008. He was an owner of a trucking company. David was an excellent welder, something that he was both skilled at and enjoyed doing. David loved helping and giving to those that were less fortunate.
David is survived by his many friends, especially Tyke Robertson and Mike Robertson of Eden.
David’s friends would like to thank the staff at UNC Rockingham Rehabilitation and Nursing for their excellence care during his time there.
