David Clifford “Cliff” Marshall, 72, left this earthly life to be with his Lord and Savior, Friday, December 8, 2023, at home.

Cliff was born July 12, 1951, to the late Ulus Herman Marshall and Elsie Hazel Dawson Marshall. He attended Smith Chapel and was of the Baptist faith. Cliff was a retired salesman for Parrish Tire Company and in later years cooked breakfast at Pinto’s Café. He was an avid rabbit and deer hunter and was the best husband, father, grandfather and friend.

In addition to his parents, Cliff was preceded in death by brothers Owen Marshall (Bertha), Milburn Marshall (Patsy),Herman Marshall, John Douglas Marshall, Kenneth Marshall (Triva), and Clyde Marshall; sisters Nellie Hiatt, Mozelle Puckett (Otis), and Oci Elizabeth Nichol.

Cliff is survived by his wife, of 26 years, Judy Bullins Marshall; sons David Bruce Marshall and Ray Bullins; daughters Christy Dawn Haynes (William “Billy” Haynes), Wanda Bullins, Sabrina Craddock (Tommy); grandchildren Jax Haynes, Brooke Haynes, Vincent Haley, Tommy Craddock III, Cassidy Craddock, Brandon Bullins, Kristen Bullins, and Noah Bullins; brother, Bill Marshall (Velda); and sisters Betty Gates, Velma Anders, Hazel Easter (Warren); sisters-in-law Janice Marshall and Peggy Marshall; brother-in-law Otto Hiatt; and special friends Tony and Floyd Inman.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, December 11, 2023, at Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel and other times at the residence. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

The family would like to thank everyone for prayers, telephone calls, visits and support throughout Cliff’s declining health.
