Danny Lee Rector, 64, of Reidsville passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at his home.

A memorial service will be held at 5 pm Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at the Rock Church, 1004 Forest Street in Reidsville with Pastor Billy Harmon officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 4:30 until 5 pm before the service on Tuesday. Friends may visit the family after the service at the home of his sister, Sue.

Danny was born in Rockingham County on April 1, 1960, a son of Irene Martin Rector and the late Cecil Ernest Rector Sr. He formerly worked in construction, installing roofing and vinyl siding. He was a huge fan of NASCAR and football. He had numerous lifelong friends and many other associates who will miss him dearly.

In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his sister, Bonnie Campbell.

Danny is survived by his daughters, Kimberly Rector of Georgia and Amy Long (William) of Eden; his siblings, Sue Fargis of Reidsville, Cecil Rector (Kathy) of Burgaw, NC, Lee Rector of Eden, Jeff Rector (Barbara) of Riegelwood, NC; his four grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
