Obituary: CLYDE JUNIOR McADAMS

Clyde Junior McAdams, 78, died on Tuesday, April 1, 2025.

The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 6, 2025 in the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Forest Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Walnut Cove. The family will receive friends beginning at 2 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.

Mr. McAdams was born on May 10, 1946 in Stokes County to the late Harry Moir McAdams and Ruby Woods McAdams. Clyde enjoyed watching WWE Wrestling, bowling, fishing and collecting knives. He retired from Unifi, Inc. after thirty-five years of service. He will be remembered for his kind personality and enjoying his meals at Pinto’s in Lawsonville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Woods McAdams; grandson, Brandon Wayne Rorrer and special son, Clint Easter.

Survivors include his children, Steve McAdams, Melinda Presnell (Danny), Brad McAdams (Brandy) and Lisa Rorrer (Don); special sons, Randy Wilkins, Don Steele and Danny Presnell, Sr.; special daughter, Brandy Nelson; grandchildren, Danny Ray Presnell, Jr. (Allison), Harley Nicole Amburn, Michael Edward Rorrer (Brianna) and Ashley AnnMarie Rorrer; great-grandchildren, Khloe Grace Presnell, Savannah Presnell, Danny Presnell, III, Weston Wagner, Hazel Carter, Aurora Carter, Ashton Carter and Rayden Rorrer; step-grandchildren, Ashlyn Nelson, Jason Nelson, Wade Nelson and Anthony Simmons; sister, Wilma Jean McAdams Owens (Roland) and nephew, Timothy Owens.
