Christopher James Hill, 42, of Madison, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at his home in Kannapolis, NC.
Chris was born in Guilford County on October 17, 1981, to James Hill and Tammy Sherron Hill. He was a hard worker, loving husband and father who loved his family and always had a contagious smile. Chris was a cancer survivor and always lived life to the fullest. He loved music and the Duke Blue Devils.
Chris was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Estelle Hill, Barbara Joyce, and Tommy Sherron; and his uncle, Jimmy Sherron.
In addition to his parents, those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Casey Hernandez-Hill of the home; his children, Caleb Shane Hernandez and Chesney James Hill; aunts, Debbie Hurd, Lynn Ashby, and Ann McClain; mother-in-law, Lisa S. Hernandez; father-in-law, Alvin Hernandez (Kimberly); sister-in-laws, Elizabeth “Nicki” Staley and Courtney Joyner (Baylee and Marlen); and numerous cousins.
