Obituary: CHRISTINE “CHRIS” REBECCA LAWSON DOSS

Christine “Chris” Rebecca Lawson Doss, 80, of Reidsville, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024.

There will be no formal service at this time but there will be a celebration of life at a later date.

Her hobbies were working in the yard and decorating it for the different holidays, watching Elvis movies and listening to his music and spending holidays with her family.

Chris was born in Rockingham County to the late Charlie and Katherine Lawson. Along with her parents, Chris was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas “Doug” Doss; daughter, Terry Anne Doss; brother, John Lawson and sisters, Maxine Lawson and Mary Shreve Miller.

Chris is survived by her daughters, Toni, and husband Michael Deaton, Tammy, and husband, Dennis Williams, both of Reidsville; grandchildren, Michael Deaton, Tangela, Mahaffey, and Lauren Mahaffey; sister, Anne and husband, Leonard Bowman and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
