Obituary: CHLOE ELIZABETH RIERSON

Chloe Elizabeth Rierson, born December 19, 2015, ran into the arms of our Lord and Savior Monday, January 15, 2024, at home singing “Jesus Loves Me”.

Chloe brought joy to anyone she ever met with a smile that lit up any room, and a laugh that was simply contagious. Chloe was a beloved daughter, big sister, grand-daughter, great-granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend. She loved shopping, outdoors, getting her nails done, dressing fashionably, all things Disney; but mostly spending time with her family and friends, and laughing with her little brother. Chloe touched the lives of so many people in just her short time here on earth, but her love and legacy will live on forever. She was and will always be her mama and daddy’s pride and joy. Her angel wings were ready, but our hearts sure was not.

She was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Carlos Marsh (Sylvia), Walter Rierson, James Wright (Betty).

Chloe is survived by parents, Cody Edward Rierson and Brooke Marsh Rierson; brother McCrae Rierson; grandparents Donald (Cheryl) Rierson, Randy (Lisa) Marsh; great-grandparents Glenda Duncan and Ralph Priddy (Vera); aunts Cana Fulp (Landon), Brandy Burgess (Brandon); cousins Allie, Blake, Dawson Burgess, Landrie Fulp, and several great aunts and uncles.

Chloe brightened the halls at Walnut Cove Elementary School, where she was a second grade student.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 19, 2024, at Lawsonville Baptist Church with interment following at Snow Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the church and other times at the residence.
