It is with a sad heart, that we announce the death of our beloved husband, father and Papa, Charles Raymond Hagan, Sr., 72, of Mayodan on Monday, January 13, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Isadore Hagan and Margaret Newton Hagan of Holy Cross, KY; two brothers, Randall and Freddy and one sister, Kathleen.
He is survived by his wife of thirty-four years, Jimmie Ann Hagan; his children, Patricia Trent, Charles Hagan, Jr. (Susan), Jeffrey S. Hagan (Heather), Shannon Phillips (Wendy) and Brandon Slaydon (Jackie); six grandchildren, Ryan (Brittany), Kaley, Tenesia, Brianna (Nick), Tara Ann and Tristen and one great-granddaughter, Autumn.
He is also survived by four brothers, Leroy, Freeman, Raffo and Louis and nine sisters, Carolyn Salsman, Lorrene Wheatly, Janette Riggs, Mary Ann Haydon, Bernice Cecil, Doris Flanigan, Joan Cahoe, Michelle Hagan and Lisa Davis.
The family would like to thank the staff of Ancora Compassionate Care, especially, Emeleigh for her special and attentive care.
