Charles Eugene Hicks, 58, formerly of Rocky Mount, VA, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2024, at his sister’s residence.
To honor his wishes, there will be no services.
Charles was born in Camp LeJeune, NC on February 11, 1966, the son of Donnie Mayford Hicks and Joyce Belcher Hicks, both deceased. He worked as a roofer. He loved his family. He enjoyed spending time out in the country, fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his sisters, Donna Odell, Cynthia Byrd and Shani Hurley; his nieces, Ashley Yopp, and Trish Byrd; and his nephews, Andrew Yopp, Gentry McPeak, Steven Workman and Michael Byrd.
