Charles Brandon “Boo” Harrelson, 42, passed peacefully at Carilion Memorial Hospital in Roanoke,VA, surrounded by his loving family.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Sunday, November 6, 2022, in Citty Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jacob Danieley officiating and burial will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens.
Born in Guilford Co., he was a son of William Phillip Harrelson and Deborah Sharpe and he had lived in Reidsville all of his life. Brandon was an Electrician by trade, a 1998 graduate of Rockingham County High School, and was of Baptist faith. He loved the family place at Lake Gaston, loved working outside, fishing and his “ride or die pup” Roscoe. Brandon was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Arnold Charles “Dink” Sharpe and his maternal grandmother, Edna Walker Sharpe Barnes.
He is survived by his father, Phillip Harrelson (Sharon) of Reidsville, his mother, Deborah Sharpe of Reidsville, his brothers, Kenneth Wayne Bates II (Tracey) of Gibsonville and Chris Harrelson of Reidsville, his sisters, Katee H. Chilton (Nick) of Reidsville and Chelsie Burd (Chris) of Winston-Salem, his paternal grandparents, Joe and Mildred Harrelson of Reidsville, his godson, Ethan Smith, his nephews, Anthony Chilton and Kenneth Wayne Bates III, his niece, Kelsey Harrelson and numerous loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will see friends from 2:00PM until 3:00PM Sunday, November 6, 2022, at Citty Funeral Home and at other times they will be at the home of his father and mother.
