Catherine Joyce Edwards, 92, of Stoneville passed away Thursday, January 18, 2024 at Penn Nursing Center in Reidsville.
Catherine was born December 10, 1931 in Rockingham County, NC, to the late Dennis Joyce and Lennis Bullins Joyce. She was a member of the Wayside Church of the Living God. She enjoyed cooking. Mostly, Catherine loved looking after and spending time with her grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Terry Edwards (Cindy) of Stoneville, Buddy Edwards of Winston-Salem; grandchildren, Janna Edwards, Justin Edwards, Brittany Pratt (Clay), Nicholas Edwards, Chasity Edwards, Kaitlyn Edwards.
In addition to her parents, Catherine is preceded in death by her husband, David Hoover Edwards; son, Jackie Lee Edwards; daughter, Kathy Edwards Farmer; brother, William “Billy” Joyce; sister, Doris “Teny” Mabe.
