Calvin Curtis Montgomery, age 93 of Reidsville passed away on August 18, 2022, at Beacon Place Hospice, Greensboro.
He was born May 14, 1929, in Newport News, Virginia the son of the late Herbert Guy Montgomery and Maggie Lena Elledge Montgomery. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Anne Hazard Montgomery, sons, Donald Montgomery and George Montgomery; and five brothers and sisters.
When Calvin was 13 years of age he ran off to join the National Guard, later he followed that dream and retired as a Master Sergeant from the US Airforce.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Ken Montgomery, Michael Montgomery, and Mitzi Montgomery Gantz (Burt); four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Carol Goss; special nephews, Charlie Hazard (Carmen), Roger Montgomery (Myra), and Tim Levy; and numerous other beloved family and friends.
