Brooks Hunt Madison,65, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro.

A native of Reidsville, Brooks was born on September 30, 1959 to the late Oscar Brooks and Billie Bowman Madison, and he lived several years in Mountain City, TN. Other than Mountain City, TN, he lived most of his life in his hometown of Reidsville. He was a self-employed Welder and a member of Grace Fellowship at South Park. Brooks was preceded in death by his parents and by a sister: Elizabeth M. “Libby” Thomas.
Surviving are sons: Cody Madison (Jessica) of Cameron, NC and Christopher “Chip” Madison of Mountain City, TN, sisters: Donna M. Cook (Tony) of Reidsville and Tracy M. Strader of Raleigh, and grandchildren, Chloe Madison and Caden Madison.
Citty Funeral Home is assisting the Madison family.
