Brianna Leigh Lawson, 19, left this earthly life Tuesday, January 25, 2023, at home.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, January 29, 2023, at Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel with Johnny East officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 12 p.m. A private family interment will follow at the Piney Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Brianna was born February 8, 2003, in Forsyth County. She was lively, full of sass, and outspoken. She was easy to love, and she brought out the best in those who cared for her. The short life she lived will leave an imprint forever on those who met her. Brianna will be missed.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Chester Lawson and Steve Collins.
Survivors include her father, Jamie Lee Lawson (Sherise) and mother, Shawna Leigh Collins (Rob Pettersen); brother, Tanner Lee Lawson; stepbrother, Jordan Medeiros (Emily); grandmothers, Lucille Lawson and Karen Collins, and nephew, Jace Medeiros.
Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel in Sandy Ridge is serving the family.
