Brenda Faye Alley Tucker, 80, passed away surrounded by loved ones, Wednesday, May 21, 2025.

The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 24, 2025 at Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel. Burial will follow at Snow Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening, May 23, 2025 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Colonial Funeral Home, and other times at the residence.

A native of Stokes County, Brenda was born April 17, 1945 to the late Earnest Lin Alley, Jr., and Ola Oakley Alley. She was a graduate along with her husband at Lawsonville School. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and wife who dedicated herself to loving her family. She attended Snow Creek Primitive Baptist Church, as well as Pleasant Grove Primitive Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Sarah Alley.

She is survived by her husband of almost 60 years, Jimmy Mabe Tucker of the home; sons, Jeffrey Tucker (Kimberly), and Jay Tucker; daughter, Amy Carter (Ricky); grandchildren, Chelsea Carter, Brian Tucker, Seth Tucker, Mark Tucker, Tabitha Carter, Evan Tucker, and Grace Tucker; great grandchildren, Garrett Tucker, and Everett Tucker; brother, William Alley; and sisters, Cathryn Moore (Grant), and Helen Morris (Joe).

Donations can be made to Snow Creek Cemetery Fund in Lawsonville, NC to Jimmy Tucker.

Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel in Sandy Ridge is serving the family.
