Bonnie McBride Kendrick, 74, died on Monday, January 15, 2024 at her home.
Bonnie was born on October 12, 1949 in Rockingham County to the late George Washington McBride and Mabel White McBride. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling to the beach and the mountains with her love, Larry.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Billy Ray McBride, Bobby McBride and James Edward “Sonny” McBride and sisters, Joann Carter and Elsie Morton.
Survivors include her close companion, Paul Larry Woods; sons, Paul Wayne Kendrick and Michael Todd Kendrick; daughter, Gloria Hopkins; grandchildren, Ashley Gonzalez (Adam), Jessy Kendrick (Cory), Josh Kendrick (Jordan), Allen Hopkins (Emmy), Justin Kendrick, Brandon Kendrick (Samantha) and Hunter Woods; fifteen great-grandchildren; sisters, Frances Hodge and Shirley Shelton and many special nieces, nephews and extended family members.
