Bobby Roland Jones, 84, of 1251 Almond Road, went home to be with The Lord on November 18, 2024, at his home.
Bobby was born in Danville, VA and was the son of the late Robbie and Catherine Rowland Jones. He retired from American Tobacco Co with over 25 years of service. After his retirement, Bobby received his CDL and worked as an OTR truck driver where he enjoyed driving all 48 states and into Canada. He was a faithful member of Lighthouse Gospel Church. Bobby was an avid outdoorsman and was also the owner/operator of Bobby’s Whitewater Shop in Reidsville. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Faith Jones.
Bobby is survived by his daughters Cynthia Jones, Sandy Jones, and Mindy Scott (Jon); son Jonathan Jones (Jennifer); grandchildren Hope Jones, Christian Morris (Caitlyn), Charity Jones, Stewart Jones, Shaye Dickens, Ben Jones and Noah Jones; great grandchildren Madison, Alaina, Gracelyn, and Chloe.
