Obituary: BOBBY LINDON PRIDDY

Bobby Lindon Priddy, 87, of Stoneville, passed away Tuesday, February 14th at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, NC.

A funeral service will be held Friday, February 17th at 1:00pm in the Fair Funeral Home Chapel.  Visitation will be one hour prior from 12:00-1:00pm at Fair Funeral Home.  Burial will follow the service in the Ridgeview Memorial Garden Cemetery. Military Honors will be rendered by the Rockingham County Veterans Honor Guard. 

Bobby was born April 28, 1935 to the late Silas A. Priddy and Gladys Parrish Priddy in Forsyth County, NC.  Mr. Priddy served our country in the US Air Force from April 26,1957-December 24, 1959.  He was employed by Kobe Copper as a Parts Manager.  Mr. Priddy played a fiddle in the Bluegrass Band, Smith River Boys and most recently the bluegrass band The Carolina Roust Abouts.  He loved bluegrass and country music.

Left to cherish his memory is a brother, Ronald Dean Priddy (Linda); nieces, April Priddy, Linda Priddy O’Neil, Joyce Priddy Minnear, Julie Priddy; nephews, Dale Priddy and Wesley Priddy.
Along with his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by three brothers, L.J. Priddy, George Priddy and Larry Priddy.
