Bobby Gene Odum, Sr., 79, of Pelham, NC went to be with the Lord Friday April 14, 2023 at Annie Penn Memorial Hospital.
There will be no formal funeral services.
A native of Danville, VA, he was a son of the late John and Blanche Stallings Odum and had lived in Caswell County since 2009. He was a retired employee of Dan River Mills in Danville, VA and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed playing billiards and competing in tournaments which he won frequently. He also enjoyed yard work and watching golf and his special programs on television. He was a US Army veteran and was preceded in death by his wives: Glenda Francisco Odum, and Donna Evans Odum, his brothers: Billy Odum and Howard Wade Odum, his sisters: Della Odum Edwards, Florence Odum Chilton, and Alma Odum Lewis.
Survivors include his sons: Bobby Gene Odum, Jr. of Pelham and Donnie Gene Odum of Providence, his step-daughter: Crystal Gayle Odum of Ringgold, his brothers: Tommy Odum (Jean) and Allen Odum both of Danville, and Earl Odum of Maryland and good friend Richard Myers of Pelham.
