Billie Young Bolick, 90, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, September 6, 2024, at Brookdale of Reidsville.
Mrs. Bolick was a native of Leaksville and was a daughter of the late Willie Oscar and Agnes Cooper Young and she had lived in Reidsville most of her life. She was a retired Public Health Nurse with the Rockingham Co. Health Dept., a member of Fellowship Baptist Church where she was a soloist and member of the choir, a member of the Lady’s Circle, and had helped in the nursery. She was very active in her church until her health began to fail. Mrs. Bolick was very helpful to the church sending many sympathy and get well cards to friends and church members.
Mrs. Bolick was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter-in-law: Renay Bolick, and a sister: Brenda Clark.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years Lloyd Bolick of Reidsville, 2 sons: Tim Bolick (Judy Sides) of Reidsville and Todd Bolick (Carren) of Burlington, brothers: Bradley Young (Marie) of Clemmons and Homer Young (Jean) of Pinnacle, sister: Barbara Martin (Billy) of Kernersville, grandchildren: Josh Bolick (Aimee Wilson), Zak Bolick (Jo Marie) and Travis Bolick, great grandchildren: Max Bolick, Will Bolick and Reid Bolick.
