Betty worked at Fieldcrest Cannon for 30 years as a secretary and supervisor. She was a member of Floyd Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, playing games on her iPad, collecting glass hummingbirds and angels. Most of all, she loved keeping children. It gave her so much joy to be able to give her love and care to so many including all of her own grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchild. Our mom loved her family and our daddy with all her heart and soul.

Surviving are her children, Ricky L. Martin (Shelia) of Stoneville, James Roy “Jimmy” Martin (Tania) of Eden and Tammy M. Allen (Gary) of Eden; her grandchildren, Kevin Martin (Amy), Tara Martin (Jenn), Joshua Martin (Kristin), Brooke Travis, James Martin and step grandchild, Israel Allen; her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Priddy (Dray), Kevin “KJ” Martin, Kristopher Martin, Kinsey Martin, Savannah Martin, Ryan Martin, Karson Martin, Kollin Martin, Kolton Martin, Klaire Martin, Kimber Martin and Chloe Martin; her great great grandchild, Aubrey Jean Priddy; and her siblings, Roger Lankston and Bob Lankston.
