Betty Dodson Puckett, 86, passed away at Ancora Compassionate care on August 2, 2024.
Betty was born on August 25, 1937 to the late Charlie and Claudia Dodson. She was a member of the Honda Gold Wing club and traveled across the United States with her husband Elzie on the back of a motor cycle.
The family would like to thank Morgan and Ancora Compassionate Care team Amy, Hunter, and Kayla.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Elzie Puckett; brothers, Homie Dodson, Lewis Dodson, James Dodson; sisters, Marian Sheppard, Janie Shelton, Ethel Fulcher.
She is survived by her sister, Hazel Hooker; sister-in-law, Elvie “Tootsie” P. Craig (Ralph); and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and family and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to Ancora Compassionate care and/or The Old Country Church on Sisk Mill Loop.
Colonial Funeral Home of Madison is serving the family.
