Obituary: BETTY INGRAM KING

Betty Ingram King, 85, of Ruffin lost her very long battle with Alzheimer’s on September 27, 2022.

The family will hold a private service at a later date.

She was the daughter of the late Mary and Jack Ingram. She was a talented hair stylist for many years. She became the provider of shelter, care, and assistance to many family members over the years. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy King; son, Steve King; sisters, Jackie Earles and Joann Ingram; and her fur baby, Little Buddy.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Robbin Maness and husband Tim; sister, Linda Jackson and husband Robert, their children, Jeremy Jackson and Mechelle Smith; good friend, Bernice Evans; 3 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of the staff of Gibson House and Hospice of Rockingham County for their care and service to Betty.
