Mrs. Bessie Williamson departed this life on Monday evening, October 10,2022.
As a native and lifelong resident of Caswell County, North Carolina, she attended the local public schools and was a graduate of Caswell County High School, Class of 1968. She was a retiree of Twin Lake Medical Association and was a former employee of Glen Raven Mills and Cone Mills. Spiritually, she was a member of New Ephesus Baptist Church where she formerly served with the Board of Ushers.
Her parents, Annie Pinkard Williamson and James Williamson; beloved husband, Elmer Williamson, preceded her in death.
Survivors are: loving children, Kenric Williamson (Roynetta) and Laneeka Williamson; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Annie James (Henry) and Josie Brown (Earl); brothers, James Mack Arthur Williamson and Phillip Williamson; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted Noon Saturday, October 15, 2022 from the chapel of Johnson & Sons, 115 Holderby Street, Reidsville with Rev. Thomas W. Williamson, Sr. presiding. The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:30 until 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
