Bernard Warren Joyce III, 48, of Stoneville, NC, passed away unexpectedly on January 31st, 2025.
Warren’s deep love of fishing brought him great joy and a sense of peace. His favorite place to fish was Buggs Island, where he grew up fishing with his dad. Whether he was fishing solo or surrounded by friends and family, the memories made on the lake will forever be held in our hearts. He cherished the time spent with those he loved most, sharing laughter, stories, and the simple pleasures of life. His boat wasn’t just a vessel—it was a place where memories were made, and bonds were strengthened. Warren’s heart of gold shined through in his annual stews and fish fries, where he welcomed all those, he loved most. Above all, his greatest legacy is the deep love he had for his children and his sweet grandson, Bennett.
Warren was preceded in death by his father, Bernard Warren Joyce Jr.
He is survived by his mother, Frankie Joyce; his girlfriend/wife of 16 years, Melissa Harris; his sons, Justin and Nathan; his daughter, Jasmine, and her son Bennett (Warren’s grandson); his sister, Heather Baka, her husband, Phil, and their daughter, Taylor; and his best friends, uncle Louis Dalton and Brian Mock.
Ray Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Warren Joyce and all are invited to share memories or offer condolences at www.rayfuneralhome.com.
