Belva Garnet Lemons Dalton, 84, of Walnut Cove, passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at Walnut Ridge Assisted Living in Walnut Cove.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service held on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at Bethesda United Methodist Church, 1253 Bethesda Church Road, Madison, NC 27025.
Garnet was born in Mayodan, on May 15, 1938, to the late Frank and Mary Lemons. She was a graduate from Pine Hall High School, she was a Girl Scout leader, she loved to bake, and she also loved her flowers. Garnet was a very hard worker and she loved her family dearly. She attended Bethesda United Methodist Church in Madison, NC.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Dalton; her brothers, James, Dewey, Avery, Luther, Howard, Robert and Harry Lemons; her sisters, Ellen Brown, Kate Black, Estelle Lemons, and Eunice Atkins.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Myra Lynn Dalton of Walnut Cove, Charlene D. Crumley (Jonathan) of Sandy Ridge, Michelle D. Harris (Ricky) of Winston Salem; her Grandchildren, Austin and Jacob Crumley, James and Emma Harris and her Great Grandchild Charlotte Crumley.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trellis Supportive Care 101 Hospice Lane, Winston Salem, NC 27103.
