Becky Chism Crowell, 76, of Stoneville passed away on Thursday, January 25th, 2024 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro.

A graveside service will be held at 2pm Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at Stoneville Municipal Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 1pm-1:45pm, at Fair Funeral Home in Eden before going in procession to the cemetery.

Becky was born March 11, 1947, to the late John Calvin Chism and Mary Doris Page Gann. She worked in retail at Belk until her retirement. Becky had a strong love for all animals and pets, especially her beloved cat, Isabell.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, George Crowell, III, of the home; daughter, Jennifer Crowell-Mathewson and husband, John, of Burlington; son, Kenneth Strickland of Stoneville; as well as numerous other relatives.

In addition to her parents, Becky is preceded in death by her brothers, Michael Wayne Chism and Mark Len Chism

The family would like to issue special thanks to the ICU Nursing Staff at Annie Penn Hospital and Moses Cone Hospital for their attentive care.
