Beatrice Watkins Kallam, 83, of Eden passed Sunday, July 24, 2022 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC.
A graveside service will be held 11am Friday, July 29, 2022 at Overlook Cemetery in Eden. A visitation will be held 5-7pm Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Fair Funeral Home in Eden.
Beatrice was born August 27, 1938 in Rockingham County, NC, to the late Drew Watkins and Mary Dodson Watkins.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Russell Kallam and wife Tammie of Stoneville, NC; sister, Ruth Wilson of Madison, NC; grandchildren, John Kallam, Lee Kallam and wife Michelle, Len Kallam, Daniel Kallam, Jacob Kallam, Harley Kallam, Jerry Wayne Alford, Lindsey Curry, Bryanna Curry; numerous great-grandchildren; grand dogs, Dixie and Rosy; numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Beatrice is preceded in death by her husband, Calvin D. Kallam; sons, David Kallam, John Kallam; brothers, Rufus Watkins, Frank Watkins; sisters, Janice Ellington, Estell Wooten, Laverne Largen.
