Barry Vaughn Hanes, 72, died on Tuesday, July 26, 2022.
A private graveside service will be held at Woodland Cemetery.
Mr. Hanes was born on July 28, 1949 in Augusta, Georgia to the late Lewis Chisman Hanes and Estelle Vaughn Hanes. Barry enjoyed going to the movies and worked for Washington Mills and Unifi, Inc. before retiring
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Elizabeth Hanes.
Survivors include his brother, George Hanes; nephew, Loman Hanes and wife, Tina; great-nephews, Trevor and Tyler Hanes and several special extended family members.
