Barbara Jean Pennell, 64, died on Friday, November 8, 2024 at UNC Rockingham Health in Eden.
No formal arrangements will be held at this time.
Barbara was born on March 2, 1960 in Guilford County to Mary Collins Garcia and Junior Cecil Hodgson. She enjoyed baking and traveling in her younger years. She will forever be remembered for her caring and helpful nature.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her son, Joshua Allen Collins; brother, Jimmy Hodgson and sister, Peggy Hodgson.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son, Michael Wayne Collins (Ashlee); grandchildren, Michael Wayne Collins, Jr., Gabriel Collins and Cheyenne Rhyme; sisters, Annette Hodgson and Suzie Chandler and many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Colonial Funeral Home in Madison is serving the family.
