Obituary: BARBARA EDWARDS MICKLES

Barbara Edwards Mickles, 40, died on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at her home in Nashville, Tennessee.

The funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 28, 2022 in the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Randy Roberts officiating. Interment will be private.

Barbara was born on January 26, 1982 in Forsyth County. She was a 2000 graduate of South Stokes High School where her acitivites included cheerleading, soccer, FFA and marching band majorette. Barbara continued her education at various schools and universities and was currently the payroll manager for Freedom Mortgage in Nashville, Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her infant brother, Jon Curtis Edwards.

She is survived by her daughter, Katie Mickles of East Bend; parents, Wendell and Loretta Edwards of Walnut Cove; sister, Brandy Edwards of Stoneville; one niece and three nephews.
