Obituary: BARBARA ANN HATCHER BULLINS

Barbara Ann Hatcher Bullins, 83, of Mayodan, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2022, at Hospice of Rockingham County.

A 3:00 p.m. funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at Ray Funeral Home with Dr. Jim Crews officiating. Burial will follow in the Knollhurst Cemetery. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home and all other times at the home of her daughter, Sandy (170 Fulp Sawmill Road, Stoneville, NC 27048)

Barbara was born in Rockingham County on October 2, 1938, to the late William and Lottie Mae Williams Hatcher. Barbara worked for Fuzzy’s BBQ for over 15 years. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved going to the beach, especially with her late husband, Cecil. She also enjoyed being with friends and going out to eat.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Bullins; her brothers, William Robert “Bill” Hatcher and Jerry L. Hatcher; and her grandson, Coleman Haley.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Ricky Bullins of Madison, Kathy Haley (Mark) of Stoneville, Randy Bullins (Lisa) of Eden, and Sandy Martin (Jerry) of Stoneville; eight grandchildren, Rich Bullins, Aderon Haley, Matt Bullins, Elizabeth Smith, Daniel Bullins, Dylan Martin, Austin Bullins, and Lucas Bullins; five great-grandchildren; Daniels Mother, Jan Bullins; and numerous special friends.
