Bailey R. Pratt, Jr., 80, passed away Thursday, December 5th at Annie Penn Hospital in Reidsville, NC.

A funeral service will be held Monday, December 9th at Fair Funeral Home, 12:00pm. A visitation will be held from 3:00-5:00 pm, Sunday, December 8, 2024 also at Fair Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Happy Home Church Cemetery in Ruffin, NC.

Bailey was born May 2, 1944 to the late Bailey Pratt, Sr. and Ruth Minter Martin in Rockingham County. Bailey was a graduate of Morehead High School in Eden, NC. He was a member and deacon at Bethel Baptist Church. Bailey loved fishing, hunting, watching westerns, gardening and photography.

Left to cherish his memories are his two sons, David “Gene” Pratt, Jonathan Pratt (Brittany); daughter, Ann Upchurch (Gary); six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; step-sister, Ruth McCollum (J.W.)

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Stella Pratt; step-brothers, Thomas and Homer Martin.
