April Dawn Cardwell Newman, 57, of Stoneville, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Moses Cone Hospital.
Per April’s wishes, there will be no formal service.
April was born in Forsyth County on November 19, 1967, to the late Denver and Marye Mickle Cardwell. She worked for the US Postal Service in Stoneville until her health declined. April loving woman, a good listener, was very open minded and supportive, especially when it came to her family. She was also a very selfless person, making sure everyone else was taken care of, and even giving others life after death by being an organ donor. April loved her family, gardening, and cooking.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Todd Cardwell.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Robin Newman of the home; her children, Robin Aaaron Newman of the home, Charlee Autum Newman (Nathan Faria) of New Bedford, MA, and Johnathan Denver Newman (Clara Myers) of King; her sister, Ivi Cardwell; brother, Jerry McGee; six grandchildren, Vivviann Theran, Gabrielle Newman, Denver Newman, Lillian Newman, Johnathan Newman, Jr., and Iva Coe; and her nephew, Zachary Coe.
