Anthony “Todd” Heath, 62, of Stokesdale went home to be with his Lord and Savior on May 18th, 2025.
Born October 21, 1962 to Huey and Rebecca “Josephine” Heath, Todd grew up working in tobacco fields forging memories- and perhaps creating a bit of mischief- with his beloved brothers and cousins at his side. He faithfully attended church at Oak Grove Baptist before making his way to New Vision Fellowship where he enjoyed singing, worshiping and building community within his church family. After graduating high school, he worked for Kobe Wieland Copper Products of Pine Hall for over two decades where he was given the opportunity to travel all across the country. Along the way he welcomed two children into his life- Megan and Spencer- who will remember him for the joy he put into their lives through fellowship, family, good food and terrible ‘dad jokes.’
Todd enjoyed little more than working with his hands and getting creative; he was constantly building something new, breathing new life into old furniture or knick-knacks and the word ‘idle’ wasn’t in his vocabulary. He was a busy-body through and through, and when he didn’t have a new project to sink his teeth into he was spending time with family, friends or catering to the needs of others. Family and friends will always remember him for his fun-loving, bright personality: laughter followed Todd wherever he went. He loved fiercely and made it apparent through both word and action: there was never any doubt that you were loved by him.
Todd is survived by his children, Megan Weikert (Matt) and Spencer Heath, Mother Rebecca “Josephine” Heath, Brothers Mike Heath (Tammy) and Kenny Heath (Jenny), alongside many beloved aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Huey Heath and many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of life will be scheduled for late June with an official time and date TBD.
In lieu of flowers, his children would like to request that donations be made to The Parkinson’s Foundation at www.parkinson.org
Colonial Funeral Home in Madison is serving the family.
