Anthony Robert Galloway Jr., 77, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2024.

A funeral service will be held at Elm Grove Baptist Church on Friday, March 22, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. officiated by Pastor Bradley Hunt, Dr. Clarence Johnson, Minister George Gunn, Minister Jacey Bell. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service. A burial will follow at a later date at the Salisbury National Cemetery.

Anthony was born in Rockingham County to the late Lucille and Robert H Galloway. After graduating from Booker T Washington High School in 66′ he went on to serve the Army from 67′ to 69′ where he received a purple heart. He then went on to join the National Guard reserve. He was deployed in Desert Storm from 1990 to 1991 where he was with 731 Maintenance unit. His total Military career was 25 years. Anthony never met a stranger. His enjoyments were wood crafting, collecting antiques, and drawing. He was a well-rounded perfectionist and very hardworking. Loved spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. Traveling to new places and trying new foods were a passion of his.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by David Galloway and Estelle Morisson (John).

Anthony is survived by his wife of 36 years, Teresa Galloway; children, Abrial Harris (Rashawn), Donna Pinnix (Byron), Toni Galloway (Toya), Cameron Gresham (Lorenzo), Michael Galloway (Bee);grandchildren, Amir Watlington, Blake Pinnix, Gabrielle Watlington, Christian Atkinson, Kyden Atkinson; Brothers Larry Galloway, Ted Galloway, Sisters Janice Wallace (Roland), Edith Moore (Sydney), Eloise Bethany (Late Herman), Joyce Sellars (Willie), along with numerous nieces, nephews and a large and loving group of extended family and friends.
