Annie better known to most as Virginia was born on April 13, 1952, to the late Annie Mildred Lynn and William Harris in Caswell County.
She attended Caswell County Schools, and was a graduating member of the Class of 1971. Her career was in textiles as a seamstress until her retirement. She was a member of True Vine Tabernacle Baptist Church of Reidsville. She loved her church family and attending services.
Virginia was compassionate, loving, independent, and had a great sense of humor. She was a loving friend to many that never met a stranger. She had a nickname for most everyone she engaged with.
Some of her favorite pastimes were spending time with family, listening to gospel music, reading the Bible, and talking to family and friends on the telephone.
Her greatest joy was her son Corey, and grandchildren Jamel and Taylin. They were the light of her life, and she cherished the time they spent together. She loved them dearly.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Dorothy Mae (Nancy) Lynn, and nephew Harvey Langston Lynn.
She leaves to cherish her memory son, Corey Lindsay (Tonya) of Greensboro NC; brother, Eddie Lynn (Elaine) of Reidsville NC; grandson, Jamel Lindsay of Greensboro NC; granddaughter, Taylin Lindsay of Mebane NC; niece, Bernice Gwynn of Burlington NC; nephew, Bradley Lynn of Reidsville NC, great-niece, Jasmine McClurkin and great-great nephew, Clevont Watson Jr., Reidsville NC; special friends, Gail Pickard and Cynthia Totten, and a host of siblings and family members in the Harris family.
We know God makes no mistakes, we accept His will and take comfort in knowing she is better now resting in His arms.
