Obituary: ANNETTE JOYCE

Annette Dean Joyce age 70 of Stoneville, NC passed away on Saturday January 25th 2025 at Ancora Compassionate Hospice Care in Wentworth.

A funeral service will be held on Friday at 6 pm at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with a visitation to be held one hour prior to the service from 5 -6 pm. A private burial will be held at a later date at Stoneville Municipal Cemetery.

Annette was born December 5th 1954 in Leaksville, NC to the late John Lewis Joyce, Sr. and Margaret Ellington Joyce. She attended Stoneville High School and was a member of Stoneville Pentecostal Holliness Church. Annette enjoyed singing and dancing, but most of all she loved her family and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved spending time with her friends and hanging out.

Surviving are daughter, Dee Ann Smith (Rodney); son, Kevin M. “Kush” Joyce (Tammy); grandchildren, William “Willie” Dustin Conway, Taylor Elizabeth Smith (Timothy), Haley Ann Joyce; greatgrandchildren, Lexie Conway, Ayden Conway, Conner Briggs and Avery Gantt; brother, Mike Joyce (Beverline); special nieces, Robyn Smith (Brian), Kimberly Crews (David), and Candy Wilson (Robbie); many other nieces, nephews, friends and family.

She was preceded in death along with her parents by brother, John Lewis Joyce, Jr. and sister Glynda Joyce Shelton.

The family will meet at other times at the home of the daughter, 230 Spencer Road, Stoneville.
