Mrs. Anita Watkins Totten departed this life on Saturday afternoon, July 30, 2022.
She was a native of Rockingham County, North Carolina and a resident of Caswell County for the majority of her life. Spiritually, she was a faithful member of Garrett’s Grove United Methodist Church where she served with the United Methodist Women. Following many years of laboring, she retired from the Burlington Industries. A lover of nature, she enjoyed planting and growing flowers, gardening, farming and was also an avid reader.
Her parents, Mildred Blackwell Watkins and Roger Watkins; beloved husband, Paul Totten, Sr.; a son, Paul Totten, Jr.; a host of sisters and brothers, preceded her in death.
Survivors are: loving daughters, Carolyn Canada, Nancy Dillard (Larry) and Debbie Terrell (Hassell); devoted son, Donnie Ray Totten (Tsion); 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Alston and Beverly Ann Blackwell (Jimmy); brother, Jimmy Watkins; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 6, 2022 from the Garrett’s Grove United Methodist Church, 191 High Rock Road with Pastor Darryl E. Donnell, Jr. presiding and Rev. Timothy Fitzgerald as the eulogist. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:30 until 1:00 p.m. at the church. Public viewing will be Friday afternoon at Johnson & Sons, 115 Holderby Street, Reidsville.
