Angela Brigitte Hopkins Watson, 57, of Cascade VA passed away early Monday morning, May 16, 2022, at Sovah Hospital in Danville, VA.
A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Thursday, May 19, 2022, River Oak Church of God in Danville, VA. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 pm Thursday before the service at the church and other times at the residence.
Angie was born on October 19, 1964, in Rockingham County, a daughter of William Harden Hopkins, Sr. and Reba Hunt Hopkins. She worked as a hairdresser at Head 2 Toe. She was a member of River Oak Church of God where she assisted with the Celebration Recovery Mission and the Food Ministry.
Angie was predeceased by her mother, Reba Hunt Hopkins and her niece, Tonya Tucker.
She is survived by her husband, Coy Wayne Watson of the home; her daughter, Jessica “Pooh” Garrett and fiancé, Fred Ramsey of Eden; her son, Toy Wayne Watson and wife, Jessica of Reidsville; her father, William Harden Hopkins, Sr. of Cascade VA; her sister, Ava Gover of Cascade, VA; her brothers, William “Yogi” Hopkins, Jr. and Webb “Icee” Hopkins, both of Cascade, VA; her grandchildren, Trey Garrett and Easton Watson; numerous nieces and nephews and her special friends, Phyllis Freeman, Speedy White, Teresa Odom and Susan Escue.
Boone & Cooke, Inc. Funeral Home in Eden, NC is serving the family of Mrs. Watson.
