Obituary: ANDREW “ANDY” FREEMAN DAY

Andrew “Andy” Freeman Day left his earthly life on May 17, 2023 at Novant Forsyth Medical in Winston Salem.

Andy was born in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Howard B Day, Jr and Eveline M Day. He grew up mainly in New Jersey and graduated from Cook College with a degree in Environmental Sciences. He later moved to North Carolina where he made his home in Mayodan. Andy had a passion for good coffee, a soft spot for puppies and kittens, played a classical guitar beautifully, enjoyed growing roses but most of all, loved his family unconditionally!

Andy leaves behind his wife of 14 years, Mary Ann Day, two stepsons, Jacob Land and Cody Mabe, brother David Day (Monica), sister Ruth Adams (Clarence), nephew Ronnie Adams (Samantha) and their sons Logan and Lucas and niece, Clare Adams.

There will be a private family memorial at a later date.
